Dental Health Alliance Coverage Availability & Fees
This plan was created in 1994 and is today a nationwide provider with more than 150,000 in-network partners providing coverage to nearly 1,000,000 members. Dental Alliance partially encompasses several different plans including Aetna, and United Concordia. It’s a fair, flexible way for you to reduce out-of-pocket costs on your dental care!
Dental Health Alliance focuses on prevention and offers discounts and coverage on a variety of dental services for members of the plan. This is an independent provider of dental PPO (preferred provider organization) insurance plan. With a PPO, you have serious flexibility in choosing your dentist -- and because we are an in-network dentist, you will receive your discounts immediately rather than having to pay out of pocket and wait for a reimbursement to come weeks or months later.
The specifics of your plan may vary, but in general, you can expect your coverage to look something like this:

- Preventive care is fully covered. You won’t have to pay a cent for your 6-month checkups and cleanings, an annual set of X-rays, and other important preventive services we deem necessary. You are already paying for these upfront through your monthly premium.
- Restorative dentistry services are covered between 50% and 80%, depending on the complexity of the treatment being rendered. For example, simple fillings receive the maximum coverage. For root canals and prosthetic treatments like dental crowns or dentures, you will often be expected to pay half.
- Elective procedures and cosmetic dentistry are typically not covered by this plan, unless they are primarily necessary for your oral health.
Like most dental insurance plans, this one works on a calendar year. Unused benefits typically do not roll over from one period to the next. We can help you make strategic decisions to stretch your benefits and ensure that nothing goes to waste!
